BOOK REVIEW
BOOK TITLE: THE HOUSEMAID IS WATCHING
AUTHOR: FREIDA MCFADDEN
GENRE: PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER
“ She lives next door. She knows your secrets..”
Millie finally got what she wants— A family and a home for herself. She is married to the love of her life Enzo, has two beautiful children and the kind of house she ever wished for. Her past is finally buried and forgotten. It was a new beginning for greater achievement but yet still life never stops throwing curve balls at them at any given opportunity. When they thought they had it all sorted out, life decides to cripple them back to their knees and trust me when I say secrets can never live as one because it sure always finds itself open.
Two interesting fact I learnt at this very series is directed to our parents. They ought to be careful of the kind of weapon in disguise of a gift given to their children. Also, as a parent it's right that they will make good decisions for their children but at some point, getting to hear our children's view can be necessary.
The first part of the novel was so not interesting. I had to literally propel myself to read through the pages. It was nothing compared to the first and second series (THE HOUSEMAID AND THE HOUSEMAID'S SECRET) but thankfully the second part spiced up the plot, giving us the intense twist.
I recommend it to all thriller novel lovers. Give it a shot.
